Top 10 All-Time WWE Matches the PPV After WrestleMania

Lesnar-vs-Cena-Extreme-Rules-2

1. John Cena Over Brock Lesnar Extreme Rules Match at Extreme Rules 4/29/12

It was the return of Brock Lesnar to a WWE ring, and what a reintroduction it was with a classic with John Cena in front of a hot crowd in Rosemont just outside of Chicago.

Lesnar dominated early, blooding up Cena in the early moments of the match, and beating on him for a good portion of the 17:43 affair.

Cena was coming off the WrestleMania 28 loss to The Rock, and now looking back he probably should have lost this match, but instead they allowed him to eventually go over after hitting Lesnar with a chain and then an Attitude Adjustment on metal stairs to get the win.

It was a great way to get Lesnar back into the main event scene, and also kept both men strong, though again now looking back Lesnar should have gone over.

No matter, if you go back and watch how physical this match was along with the blood loss by both guys, you can’t but help love this match and how great it was for a main event a few weeks after WrestleMania.
