Top 10 All-Time WWE Matches the PPV After WrestleMania

Once WrestleMania hits with all its fanfare and pop, most wrestling fans frankly are a bit burned out after the huge build that the WWE does for the event.

Nevertheless, the following month (or in some cases the same month) life goes on in WWE, and there’s always the NEXT pay-per-view to get ready for.

Years ago fans would have to wait all the way till August to get another PPV event, that being Summerslam. Then when the boom of PPV really took off in pro wrestling, there was a card just weeks after WrestleMania.

It started with the always oddly called ‘In Your House’ PPV with various names attached to it. Then it became ‘Unforgiven’ and eventually settled in as ‘Backlash.’

Finally in 2010 the company went to ‘Extreme Rules’ as the PPV after Mania, likely to keep fan interest with matches that usually had some special stipulation attached to it.

No matter the PPV, there’s been some good (but let’s face it, a LOT bad) in the event right after WrestleMania, and today we take a look at some of the best of those pay-per-views.

With that, we present the “Top 10 All-Time WWE Matches the PPV After WrestleMania” – feel free to leave us a comment with your best all-time matches that PPV following Mania, or if you don’t agree with our list!

Enjoy!
