Playing Matchmaker with 2017 NFL Draft Quarterbacks

The 2017 NFL draft is now less than three months away and while free agency will begin to put some pieces in place, it is never too early to start looking at where some of these QBs would be a perfect fit.

Mitch Trubisky – San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are in the worst shape of any NFL franchise and are the equivalent of an expansion team. Trubisky is the best QB in this draft and could be the face of the franchise for the 49ers going forward. After starting only one season at North Carolina, easing him into the role may be best with the lack of talent around him so hopefully they sign another veteran to compete. Another reason why it should be a good fit is Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan got the most out of Robert Griffin III and once Shanahan left his production went downhill. After being in Atlanta the last two years, Matt Ryan will probably won the MVP award. Shanahan has done wonders with QBs and to give him the best QB in the draft to mold would be a nice fit.
