NEO Sports Insiders Week Four NFL Power Rankings

index

4. CINCINATTI BENGALS (4)

A literal shoot-out between these two AFC North teams led to 745 yards through the air combined in this one. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green ruled the air at the end of the game as Green finished with 10 catches for 227 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

5. BUFFALO BILLS (7)

Tyrod Taylor – who knew? I most certainly didn’t but that pre-season game against the Browns and what was essentially Cleveland’s starting defense, Taylor has started for Buffalo and shows no signs of slowing down or giving up the reigns. Not to mentioned that defense that forced three interceptions on the way to a 42-14 crucifixion of the Miami Dolphins.

6. DENVER BRONCOS (5)

I may take some heat for letting a team drop in the rankings after a win, but the Broncos continue to underwhelm teams when on the field. The ground game continues to struggle, just 41 yards on Sunday night. The scheme of this team should be – light it up through the air early, pound the ball to control the game. It will be very difficult for Denver to finish games if they have to rely on Peyton Manning every single game.
