28. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (21)
Well, when you play a Top 3 team on our Power Rankings, you’re going to get the result the 49ers received this past Sunday against the Cardinals. After being in a hole 7-0 early, Colin Kaepernick tossed a pick 6 to the Honey Badger, (Tyrann Mathieu) to go down 14-0 before they could assess the damage. After two major blow-outs, it doesn’t seem that San Francisco is playing with much fire on offense after Week 1.
29. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (29)
In a game that was dominated by New England, it was going to be difficult for Jacksonville to gain any ground in our power rankings this week. It’s easy to point out the negatives when it comes to our Bottom 3 teams, but if there is any good to come out of Jacksonville, Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson continue to bring in passes from Blake Bortles and look promising.
