Players To Love And Hate In Week 15 Of Fantasy Football

Seattle Seahawks

My Lineup:

QB Russell Wilson SEA $8,800
I’m not sure there’s a hotter QB right now than Wilson. Ever since Lynch has gone down Wilson has stepped his game up to another level. Now that they lost Rawls, I think they will continue to try and go through Wilson. His ability to both run and pass makes him a threat and he’s had at least four touchdowns the last three weeks. Cleveland’s defense was helped by playing the 49ers last week. The same won’t be said going to Seattle. Wilson is my top player for the week.

RB Devonta Freeman ATL $8,400
I don’t like the matchups for the top WRs this week so I’ll spend money on a top RB. I’ll admit that Freeman is a total gamble. Atlanta has really free fallen and he only has one 100 yard game and one touchdown over his last six games. Jacksonville hasn’t been playing the best defense of late. I have a gut feeling Freeman can get back to finding the endzone twice.

RB Brandon Bolden NE $5,500
With Blount now out, Bolden will take over his duties and White will continue the duties that Lewis left behind. New England is a heavy favorite in this one so an early blowout can turn into a heavy run game from Bolden. His value at $5,500 is hard for me to pass when it lets me spend elsewhere and he should get 15 carries regardless.

WR Allen Robinson JAC $8,100
He helped me big time two weeks ago when I started him and I’ll turn to him again. He doesn’t have the most favorable matchup with Atlanta allowing the second fewest fantasy points to wide receivers but they are 17th in passing yards. With Yeldon looking doubtful, Jacksonville should look to the air to get their touchdowns instead of giving it to Denard when they get close.

WR Doug Baldwin SEA $7,400
He now has eight touchdowns in three weeks and at least five receptions the last five. Baldwin is the more consistent of the Seattle weapons going up against a Browns defense that is near the bottom in almost every category. Once again I expect Seattle to favor the pass and I’m going with the Wilson Baldwin stack just like half of the people out there are probably doing as well.

WR Michael Floyd ARI $6,100
Philadelphia is another team that struggles against the pass. It was a weakness going into the year and has continued to show. Arizona has plenty of threats at wide receiver but Floyd is a great option for this week. He’s gone for over 100 yards in four of his last five games and has the size that makes him hard to guard.

TE Heath Miller PIT $5,600
He’s going to be a love or hate guy this week. I’m on the love side. Denver allows the fewest passing yards of any team at fewer than 190 a game so why start Miller? Denver really hasn’t played any elite QBs besides Tom Brady and he went for 280 and three touchdowns against them. Denver has some of the best corners in the league but is not as great covering the TE. Miller had five receptions in the first quarter against Seattle before being knocked out of the game and in his return last week caught ten passes. If the Broncos corners do their job, Miller will be the constant check to guy.

K Jason Meyers JAC $4,700

Meyers has been wildly inconsistent this season, missing seven XPs already including three in the last two weeks. The reason for picking him is the way Jacksonville’s offense has been playing. Bortles has had a major improvement this year, and will give Meyers the opportunities. He had at least four FG attempts for three straight weeks before the last two when they scored a combined 12 touchdowns that took away from his FG chances.

DEF Seahawks $5,400
It kills me to spend this much on a defense but it should be worth it. Seattle is at home against the Browns. The Browns just lost Hartline for the season so now they are left with possibly Pryor and Bowe having to play this week at WR since they released Jennings. If Coons doesn’t play Austin Davis will be the kicker. I’m not sure if the Browns will be able to put up a single point this week.
