Players To Love And Hate In Week 11 Of Fantasy Football

Philip Rivers

Loves:

QB Tom Brady NE $9,100
It’s hard to not like Tom Brady with the way he has been playing. The Bills defense isn’t as good as it was advertised last year. There are a lot of questions about scheme and the players not buying into the system. Brady doesn’t care and will continue to throw over whoever is out there. With there being good options for cheap at RB and not a lot of top WRs this week, spending high on a QB is a possibility.

QB Philip Rivers SD $8,300
He’s thrown at least 37 passes the last six weeks. That’s a lot of throws. The Chiefs allow a lot of TDs to WRs so Rivers has a shot with a matchup. If West breaks some big ones on the Chargers bad run defense then Rivers may be chucking it up more than usual.

QB Tony Romo DAL $8,000

Here comes the return of Romo. With the Cowboys playing in the NFC East they still have somewhat of a slim chance of making a run for the East title. Romo should be able to get this offense back on track and what better way than playing Miami. He can have a big comeback week.

RB Adrian Peterson MIN $8,900
Peterson is my choice for the expensive running backs this week. He has topped 100 yards for three straight weeks including topping 200 last week. The Packers defense has been torn apart by teams of late and they just don’t look the same. The Vikings have creeped their way into one of the best teams in the NFL and watch out again this week.

RB Lamar Miller MIA $7,400
Miller has made himself a big play guy this year after the slow start. It seems that just about every week he breaks off a big play for a TD. Where he has really improved is as a pass catching threat. He has caught at least five balls the last three weeks. Dallas allows the second most fantasy points to RBs so he might be able to break one or two.

RB Jonathan Stewart CAR $7,000
Twenty plus carries for five straight weeks for this guy. Carolina has done well to feed him the ball. The Redskins allow the third most rushing yards so a matchup that can favor him continuing to be a consistent steady option if you want a safe bet for your lineup.

RB Jeremy Langford CHI $6,700
He has really broken out in the absence of Matt Forte. The Broncos have a great defense but their one weakness has been against the run. With Osweiler in at QB I wouldn’t expect the Broncos offense to be in full force meaning the Bears may have some extra possessions.

WR Mike Evans TB $8,000
With Jackson and Sefarian-Jenkins still out, Evans remains the only option to worry about. Despite the focus on him, he has caught at least eight passes for 125 yards the last two weeks. Corner has been a position of struggle for Philly so I like Evans this week.

WR Eric Decker NYJ $7,000

Decker has not had a big game but he continues to put up those numbers that you just love. It seems like every week he seems to get about six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown for about 15 points a game. It’s not a bad matchup against the Texans this week either.

WR Stevie Johnson SD $5,600
WR Dontrelle Inman SD $5,000

I said before that it’s not a great week at the top for WR and there are some low range value ones to find. The Chiefs allow the second most points to opposing WRs. With Allen gone and now likely Floyd too, Johnson becomes the guy to get for San Diego. If you are truly desperate, then Inman at $5,000 is worth a look.

WR Terrance Williams DAL $5,300
I’m sticking with a lot of value guys for love list here. Williams hasn’t performed much this year but he also did not have a QB. In the two games Romo started, Williams had two of his three best performances on the year in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He should get a huge boost with Romo coming back although he is still going to be the third option behind Dez and Witten.

DEF Jets $4,700

The Jets were a top defense more most of the season. Besides the Oakland and New England game recently they have done really well. They play Houston this week that has Yates starting at QB over Hoyer. With Foster done for the year too, the Texans offense will be hurting against a good Jets defense.
