Players To Love And Hate In Week 11 Of Fantasy Football

Charcandrick West

My Lineup:

QB Cam Newton CAR $8,600
Newton enters this week, second among QBs in fantasy points per game in Fanduel. He has led Carolina to an undefeated record as well. I think he gets a sneaky matchup this week because Washington is third worst against the run. Newton is the second leading rusher on the Panthers, with over 250 more yards than Tolbert. QBs that do well in fantasy usually have the ability to throw and pass and this week sets up well for Newton to do that.

RB Charcandrick West KC $7,100
He’s starting to make Chiefs fans not miss Charles. He has really stepped into the same role and hasn’t missed a blink. The Chargers allow the most fantasy points to opposing RBs so this matchup for $7,100 only just got that much better.

RB Latavious Murray OAK $6,800
Speaking of matchups, the Lions allow the fifth most rushing yards per game. He hasn’t put up a lot of points recently, but they were in a shootout with Pittsburgh and fell behind early to Minnesota. The Lions are also fifth worst in points scored per game, so Oakland should be able to take advantage of the matchup and run the ball.

WR Julio Jones ATL $9,100
Julio is the top WR this season and the consensus number one pick at WR this week. There are a lot of teams with injuries at WR, the QB position, or on a bye week that really hinder them. With only a few choices at the top, Jones makes the most sense against a Colts defense that allows a lot of yards. If Atlanta wants to stay in the playoff hunt they need a big week to turn it around.

WR Michael Crabtree OAK $6,500
Insert Raider number two into my starting lineup here. Crabtree actually leads the team in targets and receptions, not Cooper. He also seems to be the redzone favorite for Carr. I don’t know why many teams didn’t go after Crabtree in the offseason. He is still young and was a top pick for a reason. He just got himself paid after his performance this year and with the Lions can keep his trend going up.

WR Danny Amendola NE $6,100
Edelman goes down with an injury and Amendola is up. They are almost the same receiver except Amendola is extremely injury prone. We know that the Patriots are going to just throw the ball constantly. For $6,100, Amendola is a great value buy this week.

TE Jason Witten DAL $5,500
The return of Tony Romo means great news for all Witten fans. The two have hooked up constantly over the years in Dallas. The Dolphins are another bad defense that ranks towards the bottom of the league in all categories despite spending a lot of money in free agency. I like Witten for his value this week.

K Chandler Catanzaro ARI $4,700
Arizona can score the ball and that’s great news for Catanzaro. The most important thing with kickers is consistency and Catanzaro is the definition of it. He has scored at least six points in every single game this year and double digits in the last two. I don’t care about the tough matchup this week I’m just going to take a shot with him.

DEF Seahawks $5,400
Usually I don’t like to spend this much money on a defense in Fanduel but I need to this week. The Seahawks are playing the 49ers. The 49ers are last in points scored only averaging 14 a game. Gabbert is still at QB and Hyde is out again. The game in Seattle benefits them even more and being 13.5 point favorites for a team under 0.500 does not happen very often and without reason.
