Grading the 31 Picks of the First Round of the 2016 NFL Draft

Will Fuller

21.) Houston Texans- Will Fuller WR Notre Dame
Grade: B-

Fuller will be a perfect compliment to DeAndre Hopkins in that Texans offense. I didn’t have him as the highest receiver on the board, and that’s why there’s a slight doc, but his speed opens up the field for Hopkins and can let Osweiler rip some deep ones to him.

22.) Washington Redskins- Josh Doctson WR TCU
Grade: B

Josh Doctson was my favorite WR in the draft but I didn’t envision him going to Washington. With DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, and Jordan Reed there I don’t see the need for it compared to grabbing one of the great DTs that were still on the board to improve their run defense. The fact that they grabbed a great player for great value gives it a decent grade.

23.) Minnesota Vikings- Laquon Treadwell WR Ole Miss
Grade: A

The Vikings get possibly the best WR in the draft to fall to them as the fourth WR taken and he fits the role of a possible number one wide receiver that Teddy Bridgewater needed. This is as good of a pick as the Vikings could have made and that team will continue to just get better.
