Rumor Says Seth Rollins Good to Go Against HHH for WrestleMania 33

The WWE had another big problem on their hands last week when former champion Seth Rollins went down with what looked like a major knee injury that was going to keep him out of his second straight WrestleMania.

The game plan all along was that Rollins would take on Triple H in one of the feature matches on the show. That match was and for now is still somewhat in doubt after Rollins was hurt after Samoa Joe took him out in an attack during the show.

Now it sounds like the match just might go on as scheduled, as Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting WWE officials seem to feel the match will take place after all.

“Seth is considered good for WrestleMania,” Meltzer said. “So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that’s what they’re working towards.”

It’s got to be a relief for the company, as the shift in game plan wasn’t clear if Rollins couldn’t go, but the rumors were possibly a HHH match against either Shane McMahon or Samoa Joe.

For now, it looks like we will see Rollins vs HHH after all.

Good to hear. It was looking that way with the opening video segment last night. It got my hopes up.
