NEO Sports Insiders Week Six NFL Power Rankings

14. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (13)

Antonio Gates keeps adding to his Canton, OH resume as he now has 100 career TD receptions. Knowing the type of competitor he is, I’m sure Gates would have liked to top that cake with a victory cherry but the offensive line could not keep up with Pittsburgh’s high octane front seven, and SD’s defense lost the game in the waning moments.

15. ST. LOUIS RAMS (14)

Not much to report here folks. Nick Foles quickly made us forget about his three TD performance a week ago, turning in four interceptions at Lambeau. Todd Gurley didn’t find the end-zone, but chewed up 159 yards on 30 rushing attempts, which is re-assuring for the front office.

16. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (16)

The Vikings have a good chance to end up on the positive end of our power rankings spectrum, going up against a battered Kansas City team without Jamaal Charles. The passing game has been this team’s Achilles heel, but if Adrian Peterson can get the rock 25-30 time this week, then the Vikings will be in good shape heading into next week.
