25. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (31)

Climbing out of the bottom of the power rankings, slowly, Drew Brees connected on an 80-yard bomb in the opening minutes of overtime as C.J. Spiller burned the defense in route to a victory. Another chance for the Saints to climb up the rankings as Week 5 gives football fans a New Orleans vs. Philadelphia match-up.

26. CLEVELAND BROWNS (27)

The Browns found a way to lose this one. Cleveland was criticized heavily for this loss as the immediate reaction was disappointing. Joe Haden was a surprise scratch for the Chargers game, and Philip Rivers had himself a day against the depleted secondary which also lost safety Tashaun Gipson. For the first time since 2004, two Browns running backs had over 100 all-purpose yards – Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson Jr. showed up big time and with reports of Robert Turbin possibly taking some team reps in practice this week the Browns will have some tough decisions to make in their backfield. Josh McCown did his best to play mistake free football and succeeded, silencing Johnny Manziel advocates after completing 78% of his passes and finishing with 356 yards and 2 TDs. Yes, if Tramon Williams doesn’t get called for being offsides then that game goes to overtime. This defense is overrated and for the first time this season I can say that without cringing or feeling deceptive. Ravens’ running back Justin Forsett is salivating at the opportunity to hit this defense in the mouth and Joe Flacco usually performs well against the Orange and Brown. The Cleveland Browns’ official twitter named Gary Barnidge their player of the game with 6 catches for 75 yards and a TD and he is becoming a main target for McCown.

27. MIAMI DOLPHINS (26)

Joe Philbin is out – Dan Campbell is in, at least for now as interim head coach. This is a surprise bottom tier team considering the talent that seems to be rusting away in Miami. Ryan Tannehill continues to struggle and every week becomes one with the turf because they’re always playing from behind and the O-line looks like Swiss cheese. Dan Campbell is awarded a bye week to re-group his team and try to turn the Dolphins’ season around.
