Cavs learn another lesson in Minnesota. Lose to the Timberwolves 131-123

 Boos to MVP chants…

Jimmy Butler has long been a thorn in the Cavs sides, dating back to his days in Chicago.

The drama surrounding the Minnesota Timberwolves has been the talk of the league for the last month and everyone was curious what the reaction to Jimmy Butler would be. While the boo birds were loud and proud when Butler was introduced, the crowd almost forgot they were mad as Butler (33pts, 7rbds)  played a spectacular game. Butler famously said or shall we say screamed ” you f*****g need me,” at teammates and coaches during his first practice this season.

This was only proved further Friday night as Butler had a few key plays down the stretch, the first coming on a huge block on a Cavaliers fast break. Jordan Clarkson made a great steal in the post to start the break before Collin Sexton dished it off to Cedi Osman, and then Butler got his hand on it before it ever had a chance. The second coming when he nailed what proved to be a dagger jumper in the last minute of the game, extending the Wolves lead to seven. These are the types of plays that great players make, these type of plays help teams win. Butler is one of the best small-forwards in the league, so not only did he remind Cavs fans of this, but he also reminded his own fans.
