Bottom of the Order Comes Through for Indians; Three Takeaways from 6-2 Victory

3.) Give a Hand to the Indians Bullpen and Bottom of the Order

Along with playing errorless baseball in Tuesday’s matchup, the Indians were able to go to their bullpen and the bullpen didn’t leave the team with any issues.

Brad Hand pitched in 1.1 innings, gave up 1 hit, struck out 1, and gave up no runs.

Cody Allen pitched in 1.1 innings also, gave up 1 hit, struck out 1, and walked one.

Back in Early June, the Indians fell to the Twins due to bullpen issues when Mike Clevinger started a game, Allen gave up a 2-run walk-off homer to Eddie Rosario.

Tonight the Indians made it way easier for fans to breathe when the team had to turn to the bullpen.

Roberto Perez and Greg Allen (batting 8 and 9 tonight) combined for 5-7 tonight and scored 4 of the 6 runs for the Indians tonight. Some would say an unlikely duo to come through.
