Bottom of the Order Comes Through for Indians; Three Takeaways from 6-2 Victory

1.) Trevor Bauer Evens His Record Against the Twins in 2018 to 1-1

As mentioned in the preview, Trevor Bauer faced the Twins back in the beginning of June and came out on the losing end. On Tuesday night, Bauer earned his first victory over the Twins.

Bauer pitched in 6.1 innings, gave up 4 hits, allowed two earned runs, walked 4, and struck out 3 hitters. Bauer very rarely this season has had the number of walks issued higher than the number of hitters he has struck out.

Both of Bauer’s starts against the Twins happened in Minnesota. Bauer improved his record on the road to 5-5 for the 2018 season.
