Players to Love and Hate in Week Six Of Fantasy Football

Hates:

QB Cam Newton CAR $8,000
He’s coming off a bad week from two weeks ago against Tampa here he only completed 11 passes. He is now tasked with going to Seattle. Nobody ever fares well up there and the Seahawks are getting healthier with getting Lynch back. Newton will likely struggle again.

QB Ryan Tannehill MIA $7,700
Tems have just not thrown on Tennessee this season. On the year they only have 96 passes against them. The team closest to them is Miami at 122 which is an outstanding difference. The Dolphins also just switched coaches after their last loss and Campbell is a hardnosed guy. I like Miami to try and run the ball this week.

QB Josh McCown CLE $7,000

There is no chance he repeats his performance from last week against the Broncos. Here’s the top fantasy defense in the league. He has wide receivers that don’t separate easy and he’s not very quick with the ball. I expect a few strip sacks because he holds onto the ball and maybe another interception or two.

RB Chris Ivory NYJ $7,300
The Redskins were among the best teams against the run until Freeman got to them last week. Ivory isn’t as talented as Freeman and the secondary for the Redskins is much weaker. I like Marshall and some of the other guys to get the looks instead of Ivory.

RB Frank Gore IND $7,000
Most teams won’t bring Bradshaw back for any reason. Gore has been ineffective for most of the year. Whether that’s to blame on him or the offensive line is hard to say but in a game where the Patriots will likely lead early the Colts RBs should not be favored.

RB Jeremy Hill CIN $6,400
The Buffalo Bills are pretty stout on the inside. They are also third against the run. If I had to pick one I like Bernard more because he can get outside against the Bills. It’s just not the right matchup for Hill.

RB Jonathan Stewart CAR $6,100
He is the second panther to make this hate list. He has yet to do anything this year. His high for rushing yards in a game is 62 and hasn’t found the endzone once. Seattle is a top ten run defense.

WR Sammy Watkins BUF $6,300
Calling out your team for not getting you the ball probably isn’t the best way to go about things. The fact that he hasn’t been able to stay healthy either will not help his cause. If EJ Manuel has to start than make that the trifecta against him.

WR Travis Benjamin CLE $6,300
Denver has only allowed three passing touchdowns this season. He will likely be matched up against a pro bowl corner in Chris Harris this week.

WR Andre Johnson IND $6,000
I’m not buying into the big performance from last week. He still got outsnapped by the other receivers. Until he puts in multiple performances I’ll start Hilton and Moncrief.

WR Pierre Garcon WAS $6,000
If Jackson and Reed both miss the game then the attention will be on Garcon. Have fun with Revis island buddy.

TE Jimmy Graham SEA $6,300
I was scared that this was going to happen to Graham. He moved into a situation where the team doesn’t pass much and can’t use him effectively like Brees did. His numbers have plummeted and despite being on the road, the Panthers still have a good defense that can keep them in it if Seattle struggles offensively.
