Players to Love and Hate in Week Six Of Fantasy Football

My Lineup:

QB Phillip Rivers SD $7,500
Rivers has increased the amount of passes he’s thrown for each of the last four weeks. He also got Gates back and might be getting some of his other receivers back too. They have to go to Green Bay this week and if Rodgers scores some points than Rivers will have to too if he wants to win.

RB Dion Lewis NE $7,200
He’s third in average per week for running backs. This is just a bad week for running backs but he will go up against the struggling Colts. The Colts are a middle of the road team against RBs but Lewis has got the most value among most of these guys.

RB Duke Johnson CLE $5,900
I’m not a fan of this pick as much I want it to be but I need a value guy somewhere. The Browns have thrown the ball a lot lately and Johnson has really emerged as a pass catcher. With him seeing more playing time and if the Broncos get off to a lead, Johnson can get 6 catches for 50 yards and a TD. That’s fourteen points there.

WR DeAndre Hopkins HOU $8,500
He’s put up at least 20 points in his last three games. The Jaguars have a young secondary and Hopkins has seen success with both quarterbacks throwing to him. I like him over some other banged up high price receivers.

WR Emmanuel Sanders DEN $7,900
He makes my lineup for the second week in a row. I like him consistently over Thomas because he is the quicker and more elusive of the two receivers. With Manning’s arm strength being down this makes Sanders a better fit for him. Oh and the Browns can’t cover anybody.

WR Larry Fitzgerald ARI $7,500
Hopefully the Cardinals don’t blow out the Steelers too bad to begin this one. Fitzgerald is actually your top scoring receiver right now in the NFL. Pittsburgh needs corners bad and the ones they do have don’t have the size to match with Fitzgerald.

TE Tyler Eifert CIN $6,000
He’s got five touchdowns in five games. He’s right up there for tight ends you want each week.

K Robbie Gould CHI
He’s 11 of 11 for FGs on the year. Detroit’s defense isn’t great and the Chicago offense is starting to get more and more of its starters back.

DEF Broncos $5,000
The Browns can’t run the ball and the defense should be able to get pressure on McCown and force some turnovers. I’m not worried at all about McCown’s performance last week. The Denver defense will win this one.
