NFL Week 2 Power Rankings

saints

26. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 0-2

Last Week: 25th

Noticing a trend on this team and it seems the run-game is extremely malnourished. The Saints were only able to gain a total of 41 yards on the ground. Drew Brees, on the other hand threw the ball 44 times but it wasn’t enough to beat the Giants and New Orleans drops a spot this week.

27. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 0-2 ⇓

Last Week: 22nd

Speaking of high-volume passers, Blake Bortles raised the previous QB’s throws and ended up tossing the ball 50 times in the latest contest. The young quarterback has been getting off to slow starts the first two games and will need to get it rolling in the early quarters if this team wants a win anytime soon.

28. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 0-2

Last Week: 23rd

Rough day for the Colts last Sunday. Bit of steep drop for Andrew Luck and the boys. A strip-sack by the Denver’s stifling defense was returned for a TD in the later stages of the football game kept the game out of hand for Indy. the offensive line still looks slow and unable to stop a pass rush which has been the narrative since Luck’s debut.

29. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 1-1

Last Week: 27th

San Fran had their moment in Week 1 after the shut-out performance but when Week 2 had them head to the Carolinas for a battle with the Panthers, it was very different outcome. This team is in the process of a forced rebuild and with that comes some lumps from premier franchises. Stand tall and keep your chins high Niner fans. Or, sit down it’s your choice after all.

30. BUFFALO BILLS 0-2

Last Week: 28th

Tyrod Taylor looks the part of these fast, mobile QB’s we’re starting to see emerge on the college scene and after a few years of holding a clipboard and getting to showcase his talent for Rex Ryan last year, its time to go make a run. Problem is, everyone on this team is dinged up and its going to be hard for them to make some noise in their division.

31. CHICAGO BEARS 0-2

Last Week: 30th

The pride of St. Ignatius High School, Brian Hoyer, will get a chance to play again after Jay Cutler suffered an injury last Sunday. Without their PPR star from last year, Matt Forte, the Bears will look to get Jeremy Langford going but his 11 carry 28 yard performance is not going to cut it.
