Indians march on to 12 straight wins; three takeaways

1. Bauer’s Outing

Trevor Bauer put in plenty of work this Labor Day, going six and one-third innings to get his 15th win of 2017.

He gave up just three hits, two earned runs and one walk on his way to a nine-strikeout performance.

The runs came as a result of a two-run homer Bauer gave up to Rymer Liriano in the bottom of the fifth inning.

When you look at the swinging strikes he threw, Bauer did a good job of getting the White Sox pitchers to chase his knuckle curve and changeup pitches out of the zone:

Bauer has now won a career-long eight straight decisions, (in nine total starts because of his no-decision against Colorado on Aug. 9) and even got a standing ovation when his afternoon was done from the Indians fans in attendance.
