Indians Fall to Royals 2-1 in 10 Innings; Three Takeaways

1. A Sendoff for Tomlin?

Tribe starter Josh Tomlin may have thrown his final game for the Indians on Thursday, going 4.1 innings of not bad ball, allowing a run on four hits with no walks and five strikeouts.

It’s a shame that it took him till the final week of the season to have an outing like he did on Thursday, but it appears that likely he will leave the team on a high note, as it’s impossible to think he’d make the postseason roster.

If it is the final time he’s on the mound for the Indians, kudos to him for never complaining, always taking the rap when things went bad, and always being a competitor while wearing a Wahoo uniform.
