Five Takeaways from Sunday Night’s WWE Extreme Rules

3. Brutality by Bliss a Beautiful Thing

The kendo stick match with Alexia Bliss and Bayley wasn’t exactly an epic that will be relived over and over, but the ending with showing yet another heel side of Bliss using the stick to get the win and keep the belt again shows a different level from one of the top ladies in the company.

Bliss has taken the ball and run with it since coming to RAW, beating Bayley for the belt and now continues to show what she can do early on in her defense of the championship.

Maybe the bigger question in this match is what’s going to come next for Bayley, a wrestler who has been talked about as much as any, as he initial main roster push has been good at times, but mostly has been flat as now she’s back to being the hunter and not the hunted.

Now it will be interesting to see what they do with Bayley, as the honeymoon stage is over, and she’s got to come back with maybe a new look or attitude to get back in the main event scene.
