Clevinger, the Pen and the Long Ball, Indians Shutout Angels 6-0; Three Takeaways from the Win

After a tough 5-4 loss on Sunday to the Mariners, the Indians were right back at it out West on Monday evening, taking on an Angels team they went 6-0 against last season.

Monday they started right where they left off last season, dominating the Angels in Los Angeles’ home opener, pounding Los Angeles for a 6-0 win.

The Indians bats were hot, and the start of Mike Clevinger and the pen did the rest, as the Tribe moved to 2-2 on the young season with the impressive win.

Here’s three takeaways from the win, as Tuesday the Tribe will look to get over .500 as they will have another late night shot at the Angels in game two of the series.
