Blackburn Baffles Indians as A’s Top Tribe 3-1 in Oakland; Three Takeaways

1. Hitting Woes in Oakland Continue

How bad have the Indians been when it comes to playing in Oakland in recent history? Chew on this interesting stat from Friday’s setback.

The team has scored three runs or less in last 10 games in Oakland, which includes just six runs in three games last season and three in three games there in 2016.

It didn’t go much better on Friday night, as the team was held in check for just one run on six hits. This isn’t the 90’s Braves pitching staff they are going up against either, making it even more frustrating as to how bad this stretch against the A’s has been on the road.
