3.) Make Free Throws

Going along with categories the Cavaliers struggle in, free throws shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. So far the Cavs are 26th in NBA shooting 72.6% from the line. Most of the work at the line comes from LeBron due to his physical ability to get to the hole and take a lot of shots. LeBron goes to the line almost twice as much as anyone else on the team. He is currently averaging 72% or 5 of 7 a game. The other player that is really hurting the team here is Tristan Thompson. He attempts the fourth most free throws on the team and is only making 61% of them. When the games are close, the Cavs need to make sure they don’t miss easy points and need to get better at making their free throws.
