6 Things The Cavs Need To Do After The All-Star Break

1.) Hold Opponents to Fewer Points

One thing that the Cavs have done under Lue is allow more points to be scored. In his 11 games so far, the Cavs have allowed 100 points in 8 of them. Under Blatt, the Cavs allowed 100 points in only 17 of 41 games. The quick blame is that Lue likes to play at a faster tempo than Blatt and that will equate to more scoring chances, but come playoff time the team has to hold teams to lower scores. The Cavs are still fourth in the NBA in opponent points per game, but this is a trend they don’t want to start or continue.
