Tough night in Charlotte for Cavaliers, fall 126-94

 Beating themselves

Acting Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Larry Drew is in a tough situation as he continues to search for answers for this Cavaliers team.

The Cavaliers were able to get back into this one in the third quarter, but kept getting in there own way. The Hornet lead was only three, before the Cavaliers turned the ball over back to back trips down the floor that lead to easy Charlotte buckets. Then the next time down the four, the Cavs had an offense foul waste another chance, again the Hornets capitalized. All of the Sudden the Cavaliers found themselves down by 9 in less than a minute of actual game time.

The rest of the third quarter was riddled with silly turnovers, and mental mistakes that helped the Charlotte lead grow. Not taking anything away from the Hornets, but the Cavs did themselves no favors once they got back in the game. This has been a theme for Cleveland throughout the season, the margin of error for this team is extremely small and every game they continue to live with the same bad habits they did the last game.

There is going to be a time when things change for this team, but there is no telling when that will be. Bad habits are hard to break, especially with a young team that is trying figure things out on the fly.
