The Cleveland Indians MLB Trade Deadline Wishlist

6. Manny Machado, Baltimore Orioles SS

Everyone wants to talk about the big bat and big prospect of the Indians going after O’s shortstop Manny Machado, but at the end of the day this might be the biggest of the reaches on the teams’ wishlist.

The Tribe will have to battle with at least 4-7 other teams for his services, and with the fact he’s a free agent at the end of the season, the team isn’t going to give up much for him.

The Indians keep popping up nationally when it comes to being linked to Machado, and yes he would be a monster boost to the teams’ lineup bringing his 20 homers and 60 RBI, but at the end of the day the O’s want a boat load to give him up, and while the Indians might be willing to deal some prospects, they know he’s here for a few months and gone, so it just doesn’t make sense that the team would give up much for him.
