The Cleveland Indians MLB Trade Deadline Wishlist

2. Brad Hand, San Diego Reliever

Another closer the Indians probably are already looking long and hard at is Padres closer Brad Hand. Again it could be a move not only for this year, but next as he’s signed up till the 2021 season.

This year in San Diego he’s got a 3.05 ERA in 41 1/3 innings pitched this season. He registered a career-low 2.16 ERA and was an All-Star in 2017, and with the Indians would make a very interesting piece to the pen.

Hand has 45 saves over the last two years for a Padres team that isn’t close to contending in the National League West.
