The Cleveland Browns Will Go 7-9 in 2015 – Here’s Why

Cleveland-Browns-Fans-October-2012-590x392

Week 8: vs Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer and WR Larry Fitzgerald aren’t getting any younger, and at this point in the year (with their history), there’s a real chance that both these guys will be pretty dinged up. Arizona’s defense is a force and can’t be taken lightly, but I trust the Browns youth will be enough to sneak a surprising win from the ageless wonders.

Browns win a defensive game, 13-9. (4-4)

Week 9: @ Cincinnati Bengals (Thursday)

On a short turnaround Cleveland will square with their cross-state rivals on national television. QB-WR combo Andy Dalton and AJ Green have been just-good enough to sneak into the playoffs three straight years. I think the streak ends in 2015.

Last year’s late season matchup featured Bengals’ defensive lineman Wallace Gilberry flashing Johnny Manziel’s signature (and retired) money sign after a deep sack in the first quarter.

Whether it’s because of injury or ineffectiveness, I bet Manziel is starting by this game. I also bet he gets his revenge.

Browns win, 24-17. (5-4)
