Six Reasons the Browns Should Trade Johnny Manziel to Dallas – Today!

image

4. The Browns may not be sold on him:

The fact that Pettine was willing to turn back to McCown on short notice if he was given the green light was pretty damning. The fact that John DeFilippo, for the most part, went with a conservative game-plan against Tennessee was also pretty telling. The fact that Pettine hasn’t committed to a quarterback yet for the Raiders says a lot. The fact that Manziel has had a bad habit of putting the ball on the ground probably isn’t endearing him to the coaches. He’s already had flareups on his throwing elbow due to tendonitis that has plagued him since his collegiate career, which has to be concerning. Manziel’s attitude supposedly turned off a lot of his veteran teammates last season, although most of them are publicly singing his praises now. The report that the Browns are doing background research on Michigan State’s Connor Cook says they are already looking at the next potential QB of the future. The novelty of “Johnny Football” may have worn off.
