Georgia Southern (8-4) vs. Bowling Green (10-3)

Bowling Green

Confidence: 21

If you are looking for a shootout, this will be a great game to watch. These two teams are among the top offenses in all of football. Georgia Southern has the best rushing attack in the country, averaging 355 yards a game with four players on their current roster having over 600 rushing yards this season. Bowling Green is a passing team. They are 3rd in the country in passing and 5th in points with 43 a game. Due to the MAC Championship game, QB Matt Johnson has the most passing yards in the country with 4700 and WR Roger Lewis has the most receiving yards with 1476. This is the entertaining shootout you don’t want to miss.

Middle Tennessee (7-5) vs. Western Michigan (7-5)

Middle Tennessee

Confidence: 3

I think this is another pickem game. Western Michigan is one of the best young teams in the MAC, continually being towards the top in recruiting led by hot coaching candidate PJ Fleck. They finished the year on a high note, defeating 24th ranked Toledo. The Broncos have a 1-2 punch at WR with Daniel Braverman posting an incredible 103 for 1266 and 12 TDs and Corey Davis following with 82 for 1253 and 11 TDs. Middle Tennessee has won their last four to finish the season and are led by freshman QB Brent Stockstill who for a freshman has an impressive 27 TDs to 8 INTs. Once again this is a great game with two young teams but I’ll guess the Raiders squeeze it out in a slight upset.

San Diego State (10-3) vs. Cincinnati (7-5)

San Diego State

Confidence: 17

San Diego State has the more impressive record although they did play in the weaker West of the MWC. The strength for the Aztecs is their defense. They rank fifth in rushing yards allowed and tenth in points against. The Bearcats have been up and down all season, but they can sure pass the football. The weakness with them is the defense is very inconsistent, with the offense scoring at least 24 points in all of their losses. Although the Aztecs are middle of the road in points scored, I think their defense might be good enough to hold off enough points to allow themselves to win.
