Players to Love and Hate in Week Four Of Fantasy Football

My Lineup:

QB Aaron Rodgers GB $9,200

Usually I don’t like spending big money on a QB but Rodgers is an exception. He threw for five touchdowns last week on Kansas City and faces a San Francisco team that has given up 43 and 47 points the last two weeks. Rodgers could have a field day on SF.

RB Joseph Randle DAL $7,400

He’s going to be a popular pick after his monster first half last week. I liked him as a sleeper before the season began but with Weeden still starting the Cowboys will continue to lean on their rushing attack especially on the road against a subpar Saints defense.

RB Melvin Gordon SD $6,800

Gordon is the back that I want from San Diego this week. While he has yet to breakout, he is averaging a respectable 4.3 YPC and is facing the worst rush defense so far this year in Cleveland which is giving up 158 yards a game, 13 more than the closest team to them.

WR AJ Green CIN $8,400

This pick is more about the team he is facing rather than his performance last year. Kansas City has given up the most fantasy points to WRs this year and starts three safeties in their secondary with injuries. Green could have another big performance but I’m looking more in the eight catches for 100 yards and a td range.

WR Amari Cooper OAK $7,200

I loved Cooper coming out of college even though I’ve hated on him in fantasy the last couple of weeks. I did not like his previous matchups and he still performed and now he gets Chicago who just sold out their defense. Sunday should mark his third straight game with at least 100 yards receiving.

WR James Jones GB $6,000

James Jones is one of my value picks for the week. I’ve already stated why I love Rodgers this week and Jones has been his TD target of choice lately. While he poses some risk with not getting a lot of receptions, he does have four touchdowns the last three weeks and if he even gets one you are getting a good value for $6,000.

TE Charles Clay BUF $5,200

Tyrod Taylor has looked pretty good for the Bills at QB this year leading them to a 2-1 record. This week the Bills are without Watkins and Mccoy so they may lean more on the passing game. Clay has stepped up the last two weeks delivering a touchdown each week. He may be inclined to some extra looks this week with the injuries as well.

K Matt Bryant ATL $4,800

I always fill the kicker position last and when I looked into it I had some money left over so I splurged on Bryant this week. He ranks fifth on the year for kickers for starters. Atlanta is also playing the best defense they have faced so far in Houston so they may not get the same amount of touchdowns but their offense is good enough to make Bryant a good play.

DEF Cardinals $5,000

They rank second on the year with 17 points a game, trailing only the Broncos. They have three defensive touchdowns and a special teams touchdown already this year. They play a Rams offense that was only able to muster six points last week against a rebuilding Steelers defense.
