Moon Picks UFC 217: Bisping vs. St. Pierre

Randy Brown vs. Mickey Gall- Gall hasn’t fought since finishing Sage Northcutt and has raised questions about his striking mostly due to the quick instinct to take his opponent to the ground. Gall says he has great striking and that he just hasn’t had to show it yet. This fight against Randy Brown should change that.

Randy Brown can strike extremely well and owns knockout power in his fists. If he can keep Gall on his feet, it could bode well for Brown. The only way Brown can match Gall on the ground is if he rocks him and then takes him to the ground. Otherwise, he should stay standing.

If Brown were to beat Gall, it would help improve his stock tremendously. Ironically enough, defeating top prospects or guys with big draws have been how Gall has built his name. Unfortunately for Randy Brown, that doesn’t happen tonight.

Winner: Mickey Gall via third-round submission
