Who could forget that it was just in 2013 the Indians made the post-season after winning an improbable 10 straight to sneak into wild card game. That magical season came to an end when they were officially eliminated after losing 4-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2014, they were counted out after 160 games.

At 77-77, the Indians have seven (eight if there are playoff implications*) games remaining in the 2015 season. They currently sit four games out from the second wild card spot.

To wrap up the season, here’s a look at the final homestand, and where the Indians are in terms of if they still, somehow, have even the slightest chance.

Current AL Wild Card Standings:

AL Wild Card Leaders Schedules:

Astros: 3 @ SEA, 3 @ ARI

Angels: 3 vs OAK, 4 @ TEX

Twins: 4 @ CLE, 3 vs KC

Indians Final Home Games:

(October 2-October 4) vs Boston Red Sox

October 5*- vs Detroit Tigers
The Indians will have post-game fireworks both Friday and Saturday night. In addition, Saturday is also dollar dog night and fan appreciation night, including special events, promos, and giveaways. Who knows, maybe we’ll see something we’ve never seen before. After all, you aren’t out of it until it’s mathematically impossible, right?
