Indians cruise to 19th straight win with 11-0 blowout of Tigers; three takeaways

2. Lindor’s triple threat

The Indians already had a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Francisco Lindor stepped to the plate, following an RBI single from Yan Gomes.

But on the second pitch of his at-bat, Lindor jacked an 89.4 mph two-seamer to center field with the bases loaded. Yandy Diaz, Gomes, and Greg Allen all scored safely. In fact, had Lindor not slid into third base, he may have been able to make it home as well considering the throw into third was off.

Lindor ended the night going two-of-four from the plate with four RBIs.

While it was an impressive offensive game all around, his three-run triple really opened up the game and set the pace in just the second frame.
