1. Indians Offense Held In Check

After putting up 5.6 runs per game the last couple of weeks, Monday was not a good night at the plate for the Tribe, as they were held down to three runs by the Tigers pitching staff.

Mike Fiers, who the Tribe has seen before, put on a solid performance against the Indians, holding Cleveland to a pair of runs on three hits in six innings with a walk and five strikeouts.

He threw 92 pitches, 57 strikes, and while he wasn’t dominant, he did more than enough on a night when the Tribe as a whole had seven hits and eight strikeouts.
