Quarterback: The signing of Griffin provides bit of stability at the quarterback position, say what you will about his time in Washington; Griffin is the most talented QB on the roster. However in the modern NFL Quarterback play is paramount to a franchise’s success.
The Browns need to find their franchise quarterback and they have their pick of any quarterback in the draft with the number 2 pick. The top two quarterbacks in the draft are Jared Goff (Cal) and Carson Wentz (North Dakota St.) The task at hand for the Browns is to complete their due diligence and select the better of these two options.
Reports are at present the Browns are leaning towards Goff, but it is a close competition between the two. The Browns track record for drafting quarterbacks has not been a good one since there return to the league, the Browns need to buck that trend, do their due diligence and Draft their franchise quarterback.
