Bowling Green Football; three takeaways from the first three weeks

3. Jinks is Staying
Despite many fans being frustrated with the performance of the team, Head Coach Mike Jinks is not going anywhere as of right now. The way Jinks’ contract is set up a buyout right now would leave Bowling Green on the hook for $2 million of Jinks contract, which is a price I don’t think Bowling Green wants to pay. After the season is up, we shall see how the fate of Jinks shakes up, but as for any midseason change, fans should not be expecting one.

Bowling Green will travel to Middle Tennessee for their next game. This is Bowling Green’s last tune-up before they head into Mid-American Conference play. Falcons are hoping for a quick turnaround or else they are in for a long and brutal MAC slate.
