Bauer Impressive But Indians Fall in 12 Innings to the Rockies 3-2; Three Takeaways From the Loss

1. Long Road Ahead

The two-game set with the Rockies is in the books, and the team will now jump on a flight and get ready for their most critical road swing of the year, 11 games in 11 days, as they will travel to Tampa, Boston, Minnesota and Kansas City.

The club is 29-24 on the road this season, and they have played well already in one of the stops, that being Minnesota.

As has been documented the team won’t be getting a day off until the 31st, and the grind of the month is going to take them to the four stops (one day in Boston for a makeup) before they come home to play the Red Sox for four and the Royals for three.

Game of the trip will be Thursday as they start against the Rays, with lefty Blake Snell, who is 0-6 on the year for Tampa against Danny Salazar, who has been impressive in his return to the rotation thus far.
