deandre

3. DeAndre Jordan : Los Angeles Clippers – 12 points per game, 13 rebounds per game, 2 blocks per game. Jordan is second in the NBA in rebounding and third in blocks. Despite only scoring 12 points per game, Jordan is shooting a remarkable 71 percent from the field. The closest player in the entire league in field goal percentage is Whiteside, shooting 61 percent.

The record for best field goal percentage in a season is .727 percent, achieved by Wilt Chamberlain in the 1972-1973 season. Jordan is within reach of breaking that record. Last season, Jordan shot .709 percent, which is the second-best of all-time. Right now he is at .717 percent. He is also tied for third in the NBA in double-doubles with 27.

The Clippers are 30-16 on the season, but have gone 13-3 without star power forward Blake Griffin. Jordan played in 14 of those games, and the Clippers went 12-2 when he was in the lineup.
