Probable pitching matchups for Indians-Tigers

CLEVELAND– The Indians wrap up their 16-game stretch facing Central Division opponents with a three-game set against the Detroit Tigers that begins Friday night.

Prior to Friday night’s contest, Detroit manager Ron Gardenhire confirmed that left-hander Francisco Liriano will make his return off the disabled list and get the start on Saturday against Cleveland’s Trevor Bauer. Liriano has been on the 10-day DL with a left hamstring strain.

Here are the rest of the probable pitching matchups for the series.

RHP Shane Bieber vs. RHP Mike Fiers

June 23, 6:10 p.m. (SportsTime Ohio/WTAM/WMMS/IRN)
RHP Trevor Bauer vs. LHP Francisco Liriano

June 24, 1:10 p.m. (SportsTime Ohio/WTAM/WMMS/IRN)
RHP Adam Plutko vs. LHP Matthew Boyd
