Two up-and-comers in the UFC Welterweight division look to make a statement and in the process, gain a quality win.
Vicente Luque and Belal Muhammad get a chance to shine in the one of the biggest cards in UFC history. Two fighters who are relatively new to the company look to show why they are the next big thing in the 170lbs division.
Vicente Luque has finished his last three fights in very impressive fashion, most recently defeating Hector Urbina by a devastating knockout. Luque has only been involved ina decision victory once, while being on the opposite side three times. he likes to finish his fights quickly, which copuld be a very bad thhing for his opponent. Luque will have to take initiative early and look for the finish to defeat Belal Muhammad.
Muhammad has won two of his last three fights in the UFC, showing extreme power in his last two wins over Steve Carl and Augusto Montano. Besides those two wins, it’s usually hard-fought wins over his opponents via decisions.
In this fight, I think Vicente Luque will squeak by Belal Muhammad and win this fight via split decision.
