Players To Love And Hate In Week Seven Of Fantasy Football

My Lineup:

QB Zach Mettenberger TEN $5,900
Let’s start this week out with the head scratcher for most. Anytime you can get a starter for cheap I go after it. Mettenberger is a prime example. He has had success in the past as a starter and some thought the Titans shouldn’t have drafted Mariota because of him. He plays Atlanta this week who ranks 29th against the pass. The Titans don’t have a run game to lean on and Atlanta has a high powered offense which could force the Titans to throw to play catch up.

RB Devonta Freeman ATL $8,700
He’s the hottest player in the NFL right now and I thought he would have cooled but he hasn’t. For some reason teams haven’t thrown on Tennessee much this year and the Falcons could follow suit and ride Freeman. He will catch passes and do it all so I’m going to trust him this week.

RB Todd Gurley STL $7,400
Bargain alert right here. Some analysts have Gurley ranked ahead of even Freeman. He has been unstoppable this year and the Browns can’t stop the run for anything ranking dead last in the NFL. If Gurley could learn how to catch passes and get involved there he might be the second or third best fantasy back going forward.

WR Brandon Marshall NYJ $8,200
Four straight weeks with seven catches and 100 yards for Marshall. They get the matchup with the Patriots this week in what very well could be a shootout. The Jets will need to look Marshall’s way if they want to stay in the game.

WR Larry Fitzgerald ARI $7,800
The Ravens give up the second most points to opposing WRs. You can take your bet with any Cardinals receiver but Fitzgerald has put up the most points this year. I’m going with consistency choosing him but you could really choose whoever from Arizona here.

WR Donte Moncrief IND $6,500
Andrew Luck comes back and he goes for six with 69 yards and a TD. He has great chemistry with Luck and he’s the guy to go with in Indy each week. I love Moncrief and if they continue to undervalue him I’ll continue to play him.

TE Greg Olsen CAR $6,400
Philadelphia has been pretty good against the TEs this year. However Olsen is in his own category. Newton has done really well this year and led the Panthers to a win in Seattle. Olsen has been his go to guy and I like them to put up some points and yards on the Eagles this week.

K Cairo Santos KC $4,600
Pittsburgh should not be a 4-2 team with the talent they have on that roster and Big Ben injured. The defense is still pretty porous so I like Kansas City at home to pull the upset. Alex Smith needs to step up his game and utilize Kelce and Maclin. If not, he can always be good enough to get them in field goal range.

DEF Rams $4,500
The Rams have one of the best defensive lines in the NFL and in my mind the best. They are good against the run not that the Browns have any running backs anyways. They should be able to pressure McCown and record sacks and McCown has had terrible playmaking decisions under pressure.
