CLEVELAND – Celebrities from all facets of media put on a fun and entertaining show Sunday afternoon on a perfect day at Progressive Field for the 2019 All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

The game was a shootout battle between ‘Team World’ and ‘Team Cleveland’ – as a number of local celebs along with former Indians headed up a game effort by Team Cleveland, but in the end it was The World with a 21-16 win.

Former Indians Kenny Lofton and Carlos Baerga (who each homered) were joined by Indian great and Hall of Famer Jim Thome. Former Cleveland Browns great Joe Thomas was also representing, as was soon to be former Cavalier J.R. Smith who went shirtless in his first trip to the plate.

Cleveland fans enjoyed the event, kicking off the official All-Star celebration that will be highlighted by the All-Star game itself on Tuesday evening.

Here’s some photos of event to show you the fun and atmosphere from Progressive Field.
