NFL Draft: Plenty of Solid QB’s in This Year’s Draft; Will the Browns Take One Early?

Brandon Doughty

Brandon Doughty – Western Kentucky
23-24 years old, 6’ 3”, 217 lbs, 9” hands
Career (2011-2015): 1,023 comp, 1,491 att, 69 comp %, 12, 855 pass yds, 11 pass TD, 34 int, -285 rush yds, 3 rush TD, 5.2 dash

Many think he is a product of the system that he played under. His production speaks for itself but the completion is an issue much like Lynch and Wentz. He led the NCAA in 2014 and 2015 in passing yards and touch downs. He’s a proven winner but has reportedly been shaky under pressure.

Very accurate when given the proper amount of time. Not a mobile QB at all but also not the slowest with better pocket presence than expected. Could see him being a late round pick to a team like the Patriots or Cardinals. Plays with a lot of confidence when things are going well, a bit shaky under pressure late in the game. Late round pick in my opinion (4-5).
