NFL Draft: Plenty of Solid QB’s in This Year’s Draft; Will the Browns Take One Early?

Connor Cook

Connor Cook – Michigan State
23 years old, 6’ 4”, 220 lbs, 10” hands
Career (2012-2015): 673 comp, 1,170 att, 58 comp %, 9,194 pass yds, 71 pass TD, 22 int, 209 rush yds, 3 rush TD, 4.8 dash

Could be one of more intriguing prospects in this draft. He has the record and all the physical qualities you could want in your NFL QB. As a four year starter, he improved every season at Michigan Sate. Comes from a pro style offense and knows how to throw down field. Needs more touch on shorter throws. Accuracy is an issue at times.

2 time Big Ten Champion so he is not unfamiliar with the bright lights. Surprisingly more mobile than people give him credit for. Good decision maker and plays like he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Don’t see him making it out of the second round, but I would not be surprised if he fell to the early 3rd or even late 1st depending on how he interviews with teams.
