NEO Sports Insiders Week 14 NFL Power Rankings

6. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (8) 8-5

Perhaps the most dangerous 8-5 to date, the Steelers are scary good. William Gay was penalized for his lengthy celebration after an A.J. McCarron pick-six but Pittsburgh didn’t have a problem handling the young reliever after Andy Dalton injured his thumb making a tackle. The defense carried the team last week so let’s see who steps up to the plate when they take on the Broncos at Heinz Field.

7. CINCINNATI BENGALS (3) 10-3

Losing Andy Dalton to a thumb injury is not what the Bengals had in mind for the holiday season. However, the good news is Dalton is not required to have surgery, bringing his status to week-to-week. A.J. McCarron could very well be the starter for next week’s game against San Francisco and it could be a great chance for the Alabama prospect to prove his worth as the back-up or dare I say – full time starter if Dalton’s injury continues to hinder him?

8. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (10) 8-5

It wasn’t pretty by any means but the Chiefs managed to hold the Chargers to 3 points, squeaking out a 10-3 victory. Now on their 7th straight victory Kansas City plans to increase their streak at the demise of the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.
