Too Much Harden as Rockets Roll Past Cavs 117-113 in Houston; Three Takeaways

1. Beat Up on the Boards

There’s no way to sugar coat the Cavs getting out rebounded by the Rockets 45-26, with the biggest rebound coming on the offensive side for the Rockets, as a Clint Capela putback for Houston sealed the deal in the final seconds.

The Cavs were coming off a game on Tuesday against the Bucks in which they won the boards battle 39-36, but on Thursday in Houston it was a totally different story, and the game was decided by a much more aggressive physical effort by the Rockets.

Capela had 13 boards and Harden 11 for the Rockets, while the Cavs got six boards from Kevin Love who led the team – not good.
