Too Much Harden as Rockets Roll Past Cavs 117-113 in Houston; Three Takeaways

The Cavs started their four-game road trip on Thursday with a very up and down affair with the Houston Rockets, but in the end it was too much James Harden and company as the Rockets pulled out a 117-113 victory.

The win continues the very good start of the season for the Rockets, as they sit at 9-3 now on the season 12 games in, while the Cavs fall to 5-7 after 12 contests, 2-3 away from Quicken Loans Arena.

The game was a fun affair between two of the NBA’s best as LeBron James went off for 33 points for the Cavs, and Harden, who put up 56 in the Rockets last game Sunday, scored 35 in the Houston win.

The Cavs get Friday off and will be back at it in the Lone Star State, as they will take on the Dallas Mavericks, a team that has double digit losses already on the season as they sit at 2-10 currently.

Here’s three takeaways from the Cavs setback to the Rockets.
