The latest Indians injury updates

CLEVELAND– The Indians and manager Terry Francona gave a host of injury updates prior to today’s 4:10 start against the Kansas City Royals.

Outfielder Brandon Guyer aggravated a wrist injury and will not make the road trip following the finale of the team’s 10-game homestand, per Tom Withers of the Associated Press:

Jason Kipnis has also been cleared, and will make his start in center field tomorrow as was expected:

Andrew Miller was initially going to pitch tomorrow, but the club has altered plans. According to Withers, another update will be provided after the game, but this could also mean that Miller is going to pitch today:

Finally, Jose Ramirez is going to get a couple of days off to rest his hamstring. Per Withers, it is likely nothing to worry about:
